Eaves records conversations you choose to record, turns them into notes, and sends those notes where you ask. This page says what it holds, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it.

What Eaves holds

Who else sees it

Eaves is not the only party that touches your recording. These are all of them.

CloudflareRuns the service and stores audio, transcripts and notes.
SonioxTurns audio into text. Older recordings used Deepgram.
OpenRouterWrites the summary from the transcript.
ResendSends sign in links and emailed notes.
TwilioSends notes by SMS, only if you turn SMS delivery on.
TelegramSends notes to your chat, only if you link an account.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising. There is no analytics or tracking in the app.

Recording other people

Recording law differs by country and by state. Some places need every person in the conversation to agree. Eaves does not check this for you. Tell people they are being recorded before you start.

Getting rid of it

On your phone

Audio that has not uploaded yet is held on the phone until it does, so a dead network never loses a recording. It is deleted as soon as the server has it.
